“In 1988 a vandal had written Destroy Power, Not People´ on the electric transmission building. At that time my perception of power was limited to a source of energy. Today the structures of power remains but the interpretation keeps evolving and where the power of words becomes a significant source in my creativity.

With contradictions, pronounced techniques and sharp outlines, I am using the urban landscape as a point of departure. As for now, using ink pads and alphabetic rubber stamps, I create “retouched” realism paintings based on letters and words. By repeating these words I generate messages where the painting becomes the visual debate, a sphere between private and public, assumed truth and the untold.

Silent shouts embedded in elements of hope, struggle and resistance”
